A Colorado native, Sarah grew up in the tiny mountain town of Fairplay, Colorado. A dancer since the age of 4, Sarah earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Dance with a focus on choreography in 2013 from Colorado Mesa University. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Education and Human Development from the University of Colorado Denver in 2019, where she presented her thesis on the importance of expressive art forms and movement on human development. She has worked with young people of all ages and abilities in classrooms, dance studios, summer camps, and after school programs. Most recently, she served as the Program Director for a Denver non-profit where she taught hundreds of creative empowerment workshops to teenagers and young adults. In her spare time, Sarah loves to read, workout, flip furniture, cheer on the (2022 STANLEY CUP CHAMPS BABY) Colorado Avalanche, and spend time with family and friends. She resides in Wheat Ridge, Colorado with her husband, dog, and a brand new baby boy born in October of 2022.
